The idea is simple: the food on your plate should ideally be grown, reared, milled or baked close to where you live. Within 30 miles, you can know the farms, visit the shops and trust the provenance of what you eat.

Tetbury sits in a remarkable corner of Gloucestershire — the southern Cotswolds — surrounded by some of England's finest organic farms, artisan food producers and independent farm shops. From Highgrove Estate on its doorstep to Daylesford Organic on the northern fringe, the 30 miles around Tetbury contain an extraordinary concentration of quality local food.

What We're Building

This site is a curated directory and guide to the best local food sources within 30 miles of Tetbury. We're interested in farm shops, organic growers, farmers' markets, artisan bakers, mills, dairies and anyone else growing or making food the right way.

The Area

A 30-mile radius from Tetbury takes in much of Gloucestershire, parts of Wiltshire, Somerset and Oxfordshire. It reaches from the Vale of Berkeley in the west to the edge of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds in the east, and from the outskirts of Bath in the south to the Vale of Evesham in the north.
