Who we are

30 Mile Radius is a community directory and guide to local food producers within 30 miles of Tetbury, Gloucestershire. We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this website.

What information we collect

We only collect personal information in two situations:

  • Newsletter sign-up: if you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. This is managed by HubSpot and used only to send you updates about local food near Tetbury. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
  • Website analytics: if you accept cookies, we collect anonymous usage data via Google Analytics 4 (pages visited, approximate location, device type). This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

We do not collect any personal information from visitors who decline cookies or do not sign up to our newsletter.

Legal basis for processing

  • Newsletter: consent — you actively sign up and can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.
  • Analytics: consent — we only activate Google Analytics after you accept cookies via our cookie banner.

Third-party services

Google Analytics 4

Used to understand how visitors use our site. Analytics cookies are only set after you give consent. Data is processed by Google and may be transferred to the US under Standard Contractual Clauses. IP anonymisation is enabled. You can opt out at any time using our cookie banner or via Google's opt-out tool.

HubSpot

Used to manage our newsletter mailing list. When you subscribe, your email address is stored in HubSpot. HubSpot may process data in the US under Standard Contractual Clauses. You can unsubscribe from any email we send, and request deletion of your data by emailing us at hello@30mileradius.co.uk.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Object to processing
  • Lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk

Data retention

  • Newsletter: your email address is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
  • Analytics: data is retained for 14 months in Google Analytics, per our GA4 settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be noted in our newsletter.
